A Senior Programmer/Developer at the Campaign Finance Board was fined $2,500 for neglecting to mention that he was supervising his brother-in-law, according to the Conflicts of Interest Board.
Ruslan Gendelman, who has worked at the Campaign Finance Board since 1999, forwarded his brother-in-law’s resume to those in charge of hiring two new Net Web Developers without mentioning their relationship. Though he told the board that they were friends, he hid the fact that they were related by marriage while he supervised him for 15 months.
