The pull of a small payday proved too strong for one city correction officer, prosecutors said.
Andre Brown, a CO assigned to the Department of Correction’s holding facility at the Bronx Hall of Justice, is accused of having passed to an inmate 16 cigarettes and just over an ounce of marijuana in exchange for cash, according to the Bronx District Attorney’s Office and the New York City Department of Investigation.
