The six firefighters, including a Lieutenant, who were suspended following an angry visit to a Brooklyn State Senator's office Oct. 29 in which they berated staff members while demanding the Senator's home address to confront him about Mayor de Blasio's vaccine mandate have returned to work after four-week suspensions, while Fire Department investigators continue a probe of the incident.
The six members of Ladder Co. 113 have been detailed to other firehouses for the moment to put some distance between them and State Sen. Zellnor Myrie, who said following the incident that he was "outraged" by their attempt to "intimidate my staff" while delivering "veiled threats about my own safety by asking where I live."
