The heads of almost every major city union have signed onto a letter supporting Transport Workers Union Local 100 in its push to exempt city Bus Operators from Mayor de Blasio’s Vision Zero law.
More than two dozen public- and private-sector union heads said the drivers shouldn’t face misdemeanor-arrest charges for “failing to yield” to a pedestrian who has the right of way without evidence that they were driving recklessly.
