(Editor's Note: This open letter to Mayor-elect Eric Adams is published here at its author's request) To the Editor: As you look at the many issues the City of New York faces, I would like to steer your attention to a major issue inside city agencies that needs adjustment.
In August, the City Council issued a Pay Equity Report whose results were very troubling, especially with all of the laws, rules and regulations over the past three decades meant to stop these injustices to the minority workforce and women.
