The science of big money

Posted

To the editor:

Mega wealthy people only care about one branch of science, the science of big money.

That science says money is the root of all good.

Once a person reaches a certain threshold of wealth, like centi-millionaire or billionaire status, that person doesn’t need to worry about law, ethics, morality, social propriety... anything difficult.

That person can just buy a pathway out of every one of life’s sinkholes with bribes, witness tampering, appointments of politicized judges, non-disclosure agreements, unlimited “donations” to political campaigns and lobbying against higher taxes on the rich.

Money buys outrageous luxury, political power, fame, beautiful women (or handsome men), islands in the sea and effective immunity from prosecution.

If you do a really good job with your money and your propaganda, you can convince the ignorant masses of the realm that your family should rule the country forevermore as infallible hereditary kings.
