The runoff election for Communications Workers of America Local 1182, which represents Traffic and Sanitation Enforcement Agents, settled four of the five positions at issue, but resulted in a dead heat for the presidency, an attorney for some of the candidates said last week.
Albert Sloh and Said Rahman received 600 votes each, said the attorney, Arthur Schwartz. Ballots for another vote were expected to go out this week, Mr. Schwartz said.
