Chaos unfolded outside of the Empire State Building Thursday afternoon as a dozen striking Starbucks workers were arrested by NYPD officers. In the latest escalation of Starbucks Workers United’s nationwide strike, 12 unionized Starbucks workers sat down in front of one the entrances of the historic skyscraper and were, one by one, detained by police officers and led onto a waiting police bus.
