Slower Mail Service Has Caused Key Delays in Prescription Drugs

An increasing number of Americans have turned to mail delivery to get their medications during the coronavirus pandemic, despite significant delays in postal service in the aftermath of operational changes made by Postmaster General Louis DeJoy.

The state of the nation's mail and prescription-parcel delivery has gained greater attention after President Trump defied congressional calls for additional funding for operations because he feared it would greatly expand mail balloting for the Nov. 3 election.
