NYPD whistleblower Adrian Schoolcraft, who made secret recordings that exposed manipulation of crime statistics and pressure to make illegal arrests in Brooklyn’s 81st Precinct, settled his $50-million lawsuit against the city last week for $600,000 plus unspecified back pay.
A separate suit filed against Jamaica Hospital and two doctors there remains active. It charges he was kept in the psychiatric ward for six days without cause after police who raided his apartment delivered him there.
