Even 21 years after the Twin Towers collapsed, 9/11 remains a raw memory for Joe Calderone.
Calderone, at the time an investigative editor at the Daily News, got to ground zero a day after the attacks and learned that more than 300 members of the FDNY were among the 2,763 people who perished when the towers crumpled to the ground.
