As Governor Cuomo sailed to a Nov. 4 re-election victory with 54 percent of the vote, a less-than-enthusiastic union leader at the Sheraton Times Square spoke to a reporter in a lobby between an invite-only party hosted by the AFL-CIO and the ballroom housing Mr. Cuomo’s victory party.
Though Communications Workers of America Local 1180 President Arthur Cheliotes was there to cheer the re-elections of labor-friendly State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli and Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, he said his stomach couldn’t handle welcoming the Governor into his second term.
