The city’s public-hospital system plans to terminate nearly 900 contact tracers in late April as its contact tracing program concludes.
NYC Health + Hospitals will lay off 874 contact tracers “on or about” April 29, according to a notice posted March 8 by the state Department of Labor’s Office of Dislocated Workers Program.
