Whether you like Donald Trump or not, and clearly most New York politicians don’t, it is obvious that Trump Derangement Syndrome has infected many of our city and state elected officials’ ability to properly perform their jobs.

She has doggedly pursued the former president for basically a made-up charge in which she alleges that he inflated his net worth to secure more favorable loan rates from banks. Never mind that the bankers themselves have testified on Trump’s behalf that they lost no money in their business transactions with him. She is so fixated on finding him guilty of something that she has abrogated all of her other important responsibilities as the top law enforcement official in the state.
