The former Chief of Police for Harrison, N.Y., Anthony Marraccini, pleaded guilty Jan. 23 to evading more than $780,000 in taxes he should have paid on income from a construction company and several rental properties he owned, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District Geoffrey S. Berman announced.
Mr. Marraccini entered the guilty plea before U.S. District Judge Kenneth M. Karas in White Plaints Federal Court. (Mr. Berman’s offices are based in lower Manhattan, but the Southern District also includes The Bronx and several upstate counties including Westchester, where the Town of Harrison is located.)
