Elections-Board Deputy Scolded for Car-Pooling

The Deputy Chief Clerk of Brooklyn’s Board of Elections Office was publicly chastised for car-pooling with a subordinate employee, according to a recent disposition released by the Conflicts of Interest Board.

The board issued Betty Ann Canizio-Aquil, who has worked for the BOE for two years, a warning letter because she regularly accepted rides home from an employee who lived nearby.
