To the editor:
The fact that the Miss America and Miss World pageants still ban mothers from competing shows the durability of stupidity ("NYC woman challenges pageants' rule banning mothers from competitions," The Chief, Sept. 20). Obviously, beautiful women, whether single or married, don't stop being beautiful after giving birth.
I'm guessing that anyone who does not see that Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, Becky Lynch, Chaka Khan and Britney Spears, to name just half-a-dozen, are still beautiful long after giving birth need to sue their eye doctors for malpractice.
