For the undecided

Posted

To the editor:

If one of your lame excuses for being undecided who to vote for president of the U.S. is you don’t know enough about Kamala Harris, then you either have been living under a rock, not paying attention, looking at the wrong websites for information or are just plain full of crap. You probably don’t even exercise your right to vote.

Vice President Harris is a lawyer who was a district attorney in California and the state’s attorney general. She was a U.S. senator and is the vice president today. Kamala Harris has more education and experience than most presidents before her. What else do you need to know?

Even if you didn’t know enough about her, you know enough about Trump not to ever vote for him again. For example, he misled on Covid, causing over a million people to die unnecessarily; he tried to overthrow the government via insurrection when he lost the election; he stole classified documents, jeopardizing our national security; he’s a draft dodger who vilifies our military heroes; and also a cold stone misogynist and racist.

Stop the excuses and vote. When you don’t vote you are allowing someone else to make decisions that will affect your life and the life of your children for many years. Perhaps a lifetime.

Be decided and vote based on facts and the truth. Vote for democracy and the rule of law. Vote Kamala Harris
