To the Editor: After reading a recent article in the Daily News, entitled: Rikers Island Correction Officers run "World Tour" alleging that uniformed staff is now relying on inmates to enforce order, and a recently filed lawsuit by a 19-year-old inmate who has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, according to his mother, a retired Correction Officer, he is a victim of was once called The Program.
In her text submission, she alleges that she personally witnessed The Program firsthand, and according to her: she further claims this revised program that is now called the World Tour, is what led to the death of inmate Christopher Robinson in 2008.
