DOJ Looks to Decertify Immigration Judges' Union

According to the Justice Department, a group of about 400 judges who rule on immigration cases are management and are therefore not entitled to union representation.

The department on Aug. 9 filed a petition with the Federal Labor Relations Authority looking to decertify The National Association of Immigration Judges, Government Executive reports. The union, certified in 1979, has criticized a number of President Trump’s initiatives.
