Faculty and staff at the City University of New York represented by the Professional Staff Congress must be fully vaccinated against coronavirus by April 1, but the union questioned why that policy has not been extended to all CUNY employees.
In a March 10 letter to members, PSC President James Davis said the vaccine mandate would take effect for the union’s 30,000 members at the start of next month. That deadline, though, did not apply to CUNY employees who were not represented by the PSC, including about 10,000 non-pedagogical staffers represented by District Council 37.
