City postal worker accused of stealing checks, credit cards

Posted 7/5/24

A Manhattan postal worker and her partner have been indicted on charges of stealing credit cards and checks from mail bound for addresses in Midtown, the office of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg Jr. announced.

Destiny Anderson, who worked sorting mail and as a relay truck driver out of the Radio City Post Office on West 52nd Street, would sort through the mail and pick out those envelopes she thought held checks or credit cards, the DA’s office said. She did this at the behest of her partner, Anthony Johnson.
