The third of three former NYPD officers accused of participating in a kickback scheme for nudging the owners of damaged vehicles to a tow-truck company owned by a former cop in exchange for cash pleaded guilty to federal conspiracy charges in Brooklyn federal court earlier today.
James Davneiro’s plea followed that of former NYPD officers Giancarlo Osma, on Nov. 16, and Michael Perri, on Nov. 15, to similar charges.
