Q. My husband was a retiree with the Teachers' Retirement System. He died about three months ago. His balance with the Tax- Deferred Annuity account was about $360,000. I am his sole beneficiary. Do you think it is a good idea for me to establish my own TDA account with the TRS and continue to get 8.25- percent interest on the account? C.P.
