Although the three Department of Correction Officers and a Captain who allegedly witnessed a suicide attempt by 18-year-old Nicholas Feliciano inside a Rikers Island jail cell on Thanksgiving Eve have served their suspensions and are back on modified duty, inquiries into the Nov. 27 incident are ongoing.
“The investigation into this matter continues,” a Department of Investigation spokeswoman said.
