At a promotion ceremony March 28, Police Commissioner William J. Bratton upgraded five members of his leadership team as well as 64 other uniformed and 24 other civilian employees.
Robert K. Boyce was officially promoted to three-star Chief of Detectives. “Robert brings a level of expertise and investigative skills to the Detective Bureau that lives up to the mantra ‘the greatest Detectives in the world,’’’ Mr. Bratton said.
