The White House’s labor task force this week launched an effort to increase the number of unionized workers. The group, whose agenda was unveiled at its first meeting May 13, will also address income inequality and look to even the worker-employer relationship, according to Reuters.
"When there are more union members, there is less income inequality," Vice President Kamala Harris, who leads the group, said.
