Anthony Wells has won his fourth term as president of District Council 37’s Social Service Employees Union Local 371, but his challenger plans to contest the results due to what he described as “election irregularities.”
Mr. Wells received about 71 percent of the vote, netting 1,776 votes to continue as head of the union representing child-welfare employees, while opponent Alex Parker earned 707.
