A vice president and a representative at District Council 37’s New York Public Library Guild Local 1930 have brought charges against the union’s president, including one alleging that she ignored a motion to conduct over a decade’s worth of missing financial audits.
Local 1930's vice president of librarians, John Fahs, and the local’s information assistant representative, Dia Carter, brought charges to the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees’ Judicial Panel against Deborah Allman, who has led the local since 2021.
