NYU Langone-Brooklyn has routinely broken safe-staffing laws, according to the union that represents the hospital’s nurses.
Over the past year-and-a-half, the union, the United Federation of Teachers, has filed more than 2,000 staffing complaints, with 30 violations of state laws documented over the course of a single week in August.
