The president of the United Auto Workers and a U.S. Attorney will meet later this month to talk about potential reforms at the troubled union, The Detroit News reported.
UAW head Rory Gamble and Detroit-based U.S. Attorney Matthew Schneider will meet June 30 in the midst of a federal probe into the union. The federal investigation has already led to criminal charges against Mr. Gamble's predecessor, Gary Jones, and other former union executives.
