Region 9A of the United Auto Workers last week endorsed three candidates for New York City mayor, heralding them as “pro-labor champions," and explicitly urging members not to vote to reelect Eric Adams.
In unanimous balloting Dec. 4, the union’s New York City Community Action Program Council endorsed City Comptroller Brad Lander, State Senator Jessica Ramos and Assembly Member Zohran Mamdani, all of whom are running in June’s Democratic Party primary.
