To the editor:
President Donald Trump is deserving of substantial recognition for some of the most consequential pro-Israel decisions made by any American president in recent history.
During his inaugural term, Donald Trump implemented substantial initiatives in support of Israel, including the relocation of the United States embassy to Jerusalem, the acknowledgment of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan Heights, and the facilitation of the Abraham Accords in 2020.
Furthermore, he challenged enduring assumptions that had significantly influenced Middle East policy for several decades. In his subsequent term, he effectively neutralized Iran’s nuclear weapons program.
Despite the President of the United States being elected to advance American interests, many have argued for decades that the US-Israel relationship is an enduring friendship, not just a strategic alliance.

"In his subsequent term, he effectively neutralized Iran’s nuclear weapons program". Robert, you are wrong. There is no nuclear agreement. Apparently you don't know that Mr. Trump extinguished the agreement put into place by president Obama; negotiated by Secretary of State John Kerry and signed off by five additional nations including Russia and China. This difficult negotiation took 20 months.
Mr. Sica, please do some elementary research prior to commenting.

Despite what you say, Iran's stockpile of enriched Uranium remains intact. Iran's nuclear weapons program was neutralized under the agreement negotiated by Obama, the JCPOA, which Trump tore up. That is how we got to the mess where we are today, nowhere. Trump is so jealous of Obama, and he is insecure, too. He won't get a better deal than Obama got and that will irritate him forever.

Mr. Frank, you seem to be out of touch with the recent developments between Trump and Iran. I suggest you stay informed about current events before accusing others of not doing basic research before commenting.

Mr. Frank happens to have his facts correct, Wordman. What are your sources that say otherwise?
