To the editor:
At home, the halls of power split in two,
Where lawmakers engage in bitter fights.
They trade their insults, searching for a clue,
While families face the darkness of the night.
The trade embargoes choke the foreign shore,
And tariffs rise to build a higher wall.
The factories are closed for evermore,
As cities watch their ancient empires fall.
The tanks deploy across a disputed line,
While drones patrol the quiet, grey expanse.
The generals await a sudden sign,
And leaders join a grim, destructive dance.
The currency collapses overnight,
As inflation strips the working class of bread.
The partisans prepare another fight,
And leave the path of reason for the dead.

Has Sica finally realized the damaged done by his hero Trump? Or does he somehow think that all he mentions in his poem are somehow someone else's fault?

This poem speaks for the children of humanity and the failures of government…not one man…as the world is fracturing, split by political vanity and the heavy hand of economic malice. On the borders, the tanks wait; in the marketplace, money turns to dust, leaving the table bare. We have traded the quiet sanity of the pasture for the dark, mechanical gears of ruin. Our leaders bicker while the lamps go out at home, forgetting that when reason is abandoned, we lose the very ground beneath our feet.

To Admin: The latter is correct, or course.

@Admin, there is a third possibility. In addition to Sica's other disorders (narcissism, projection, schizophrenia, etc.), perhaps he also suffers from Dissociative Identity Disorder or what used to be called a split personality. One "identity" is the pacifist who longs for a return to the progressive socialist approach Democrats from FDR to LBJ employed to keep the wealthy and corporations in check. While a second "identity" is the all-in MAGA man who supports Israeli genocide, bombing Iran "back to the stone age", the unconstrained accumulation of individual wealth and believes Democrats are Communists who are destroying America.

Critique Trump all you like; that is your right as a citizen. But do not deceive yourself into believing he is a historical aberration. He is merely the predictable output of the political machine. To pretend otherwise is a comforting form of doublethink, designed to shield us from the unpleasant realities of our system.
No single politician bears the total blame for our current global decay. That is an honor all humanity must share. We have all surrendered our agency to the bureaucratic state, piece by piece.
Many citizens look at the Democratic platform and see a shining, progressive path. Others look at the exact same platform and see a total train wreck. In a society that still permits private thought, they have every right to that view.
If you disagree with this assessment, that too is your right—for now...

Reen’ro, this retort is for you...
In the formal architecture of debate, where reason ought to build its temples, the sudden resort to pejoratives is the unmistakable sound of structural collapse. It is a curious spectacle of our modern discourse. When a speaker’s intellectual treasury runs dry, they do not gracefully concede or seek a fresher currency of thought. Instead, they reach for the cheap gravel of name-calling, hurling verbal mud in a desperate attempt to obscure their own bankruptcy.
To watch a debater deploy these slurs is to watch a craftsman throw down his tools and pick up a club. It is the ultimate confession of emptiness. The pejorative explains nothing, refutes nothing, illuminates nothing. It is merely a loud, discordant noise designed to distract from a vacant podium. Where logic requires patience and a steady hand, the insult demands only malice and a short temper. True debate is a generous act—an invitation to clarity and shared understanding. The use of a pejorative, by contrast, is a door slammed shut in the face of truth, leaving the speaker isolated in the small, dark room of their own shortcomings.

Sica's latest post is the MOST over the top example of projection yet. He constantly resorts to hurling insults when his arguments fail. I have provided numerous examples of Sica responding to facts he finds inconvenient with nasty personal insults going as far back as a year and a half ago. As they say, he can dish it out, but he can't take it.

Cannisi.
Put this in your pipe,
and Smoke it.
You speak with two tongues. Your words are hollow.
You write the small truths to hide the big lies. It is the work of men who sell slogans to the crowd. You march in step with the dead tyrants of the old days.
The men who once led the Democrats are gone into the earth. The new ones have a different faith. They look to the East. They are communists now.
I could write a good essay about the old tyrants. It would prove the point...But there is work to do now. The deadline is heavy.
Maybe I will write it next week. If I still want to.
If I write it, I will write the truth. The tyrants of the century killed millions of men. They killed them under the names of the state and the collective. They did it because they had big ideas and absolute power. They forgot what a man is, and they treated them like animals.
Today’s radical Democrats walk that same line. Their ideas do not change. They bring the old hatred against Israel and the Jews. It is a very old hatred. It has lasted for centuries. They aim it at a culture that shaped Western law. That culture gave men the value of the individual, the idea of progress, and the written word.

The false Man
The man looks in the glass and sees his faults.
He fears the things he sees, and so he lies.
The print upon the page is small and dark.
The words are clear but mean nothing to him.
He talks too much and makes the people tired.
His reasons have no weight. They are not true.
He strikes at truth. He speaks a heavy lie.
He will not know the meaning of these words.
They fly above his head.

Go read the sharp retort and read it well.
Go read the final paragraph five times.
Go read the last line ten times more to tell,
If you can see the truth behind these rhymes.
You might just grasp the moral of the post,
But I expect you miss the meaning most.

Word Man/Sica can certainly blather on. However, with each post Sica only proves what I have been saying. He is a very nasty man with serious psychological issues.

The modern digital world faces a quiet but dangerous threat from individuals who spread lies and political propaganda under the guise of absolute truth. Often driven by blind partisanship or a simple lack of critical thinking, these modern dullards weaponize social media platforms to broadcast unverified rumors, fabricated stories, and twisted narratives. While they may view their actions as harmless digital noise or passionate activism, the reality is that their careless behavior inflicts inimical, or deeply harmful, damage on the very fabric of society.
When falsehoods are passed off as facts, the immediate victim is public trust. Citizens rely on accurate information to make informed choices about their health, finances, and governance. When propaganda pollutes the information stream, it creates mass confusion and erodes faith in reliable institutions. This manipulation divides communities, turns neighbors against each other, and stalls meaningful political debate. Instead of arguing about solutions to real problems, people end up trapped in debates over what is actually real.
Furthermore, this systematic deception weakens democracy itself. Democratic systems require an informed public to function correctly. By distorting reality, these bad actors manipulate voter behavior and alter election outcomes based on fear rather than fact. The long-term consequences are severe, leading to fractured societies and weakened democratic norms. Ultimately, those who traffic in deliberate deception do not just spread misinformation; they actively dismantle the shared truth required for a free and stable society to survive.
