President Biden needs to heed Kenny Rogers’ lyrics from “The Gambler”: "You've got to know when to hold 'em/ know when to fold them/ know when to walk away/ and know when to run."

For all the talk and demands for President Biden to step aside, I haven't heard one, not one, name put forth as a replacement that all or the vast majority of Democrats could get behind absent the primary process. It is insanity to think that involuntarily replacing him on this year's ballot this late in the game is feasible and the snide dismissal of VP Kamala Harris is palpable and seems a little disrespectful. If President Biden decides to accept the nomination from convention delegates who have to report the will of the people, then Democrats owe him their overwhelmingly strong support in the face of a Republican party that will nominate a lying convicted felon as their candidate for President.
