After eight years of affiliating with Republicans and helping to maintain that party’s control of the State Senate, the Independent Democratic Conference agreed last week to rejoin the mainstream Democratic Conference.
But it doesn’t look like the change of allegiance by the eight members of the IDC will change who runs the Senate, at least in the short term.
