Donald Trump announced that he will hold all legislation hostage until passage of the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. GOP lawmakers describe SAVE as a “voter ID” bill; that’s a lie.
The bill’s stated purpose is - “To amend the National Voter Registration Act of 1993 to require proof of United States citizenship to register an individual to vote in elections for Federal office." SAVE’s sole intent is to prevent noncitizens from voting.
This begs the question, is noncitizen voting problematic? Trump and GOP lawmakers claim it is.
The Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR) spent four months analyzing state-run election fraud investigations across the country to answer this question.
EIR Executive Director David Becker concluded that "noncitizens are not a large threat to our election system ... even states that are looking everywhere to try to amplify the numbers of noncitizens … when they actually look, they find a surprisingly, shockingly small number … the vast majority of allegations of noncitizen registration or voting appear to arise from misunderstandings, mischaracterizations, or outright fabrications."
CEIR cited Texas as an example. In 2024, Governor Abbott announced 1,930 noncitizens may have cast votes in that year’s election.
Following further investigation, that figure was revised downward to 100 “potential” noncitizen votes out of 11,388,674 votes cast in 2024; the write-in vote was 8,569 or 85 times higher than any potential noncitizen votes. CEIR found the same pattern across the country.
What SAVE is more likely to do is to disenfranchise the 21 million legitimate voters who lack the citizenship documentation requirements of SAVE – Real ID’s, passports or birth certificates that include place of birth with matching names – as well as the 69 million married women and 3 million transgender individuals who changed their names.
That’s how you rig an election!

No, rigging an election involves having illegal aliens vote in federal elections, not enforcing federal law as per the U.S. Constitution. The Constitution and federal law explicitly reserve the right to vote in federal elections for United States citizens.
Federal statutes clearly prohibit non-citizens from registering to vote or casting ballots in Federal elections. However, some States have lax verification and self-certification loopholes that create gaps, undermining public confidence in election outcomes.
The federal government has a responsibility to prevent violations of federal criminal law during federal elections and to ensure that the “ public has elections they can trust.”
This absurd letter condones the violation of federal election laws. The letter’s author clearly lacks knowledge of the U.S. Constitution, particularly regarding voter eligibility in federal elections.

Word man is obviously not a numbers man. Not a single investigation in the Trump era (Trump “error” is more accurate) has proved any more than a handful of illegal voters - anywhere in the country. Trump just wants to use any strategy to scare away voters and prevent voting by legitimate voters - especially women who have name changes after marriage. The Trump misogynists will do anything to subjugate women and mute their voices..

Over and over and over again, in every jurisdiction where there are accusations of widespread voter fraud, it has been disproven by every agency, task force, investigative entity that has looked into it. Yet, ill informed conspiracy bent individuals such as Word Man continue to insist on repeating and repeating and repeating the blatant patently false accusations to no end as he has done so again here in response to Mr Cannisi's letter.
If you are merely going to blindly believe what you want to believe in spite of proof to the contrary then there is never going to be any proof to offer that will satisfy your delusion. Yes, it is his right to believe as he wants, but he has no legitimately grounded footing to then proceed to accuse Mr Cannisi of a lack of constitutional knowledge, voter eligibility and accusations of condoning violation of laws. That letter did no more than to present the very facts Word Man refuses to believe.
Please question what your preferred sources of information are feeding you and consider the source itself. Seems to me they are holding out on you.

Word Man, none of what you are saying has happened. There is virtually no election fraud. And I seem to remember it was done by Republicans. The SAVE act is to make sure the elections are rigged in the Republicans favor since they are going to lose the House. The SAVE act is to save the Republicans from utter defeat. in the midterms. Trump is dragging them down. That is the real issue here. Remember the 60 failed lawsuits?

Regardless of whether you accept the facts, my letter is based on factual accounts of voter fraud during the 2020 presidential election. Denying the existence of such fraud does not alter the facts—the 2020 presidential election was indeed fraudulent, and the American people had become aware of this fact, which is the reason why they re-elected Mr. Trump and returned him to the White House.

The Heritage Foundation has made uncovering illegal voting by non-citizens a top priority. They meticulously reviewed decades of election data to create a database, which is posted on their website.
The Heritage Foundation's own database documented just 68 total cases of non-citizen voting going back to the earliest cases documented in the 1980s. Think about that - 68 votes out of billions of votes cast in over 20 federal elections.
SAVE is nothing more than a naked attempt to disenfranchise millions of US citizens within Democratic voting blocs - women, Blacks and transgendered individuals. Trump knows this and so do his supporters.

Reen’roe, your letter clearly condones illegal-alien voting. If one illegal alien votes in a federal election, it’s too many. The Constitution explicitly states that only American citizens can vote in federal elections—that’s the end of the matter.

These are alternate facts, Word Man. There was no fraud during the 2020 election. You are in a MAGA spell that can't be broken. Keep spinning the lies. Where is the proof? There is none.

In 2005, the U.S. Government Accountability Office found that up to 3% of the 30,000 individuals called for jury duty from voter registration rolls in one U.S. district court were not citizens. This may seem small, but 3% of registered voters could have secured the winning presidential vote margin in Florida in 2000. The Census Bureau estimates over a million illegal aliens in Florida, and the DOJ has prosecuted more non-citizen voting cases there than any other state.
Florida is not unique. Thousands of non-citizens are registered to vote in some states, and tens if not hundreds of thousands in total may be present on the voter rolls nationwide. These numbers are significant: Local elections are often decided by only a handful of votes, and even national elections have likely been within the margin of the number of non-citizens illegally registered to vote.
Yet there is no reliable method to determine the number of non-citizens registered or actually voting because most laws to ensure that only citizens vote are ignored, are inadequate, or are systematically undermined by government officials. Those who ignore the implications of non-citizen registration and voting either are willfully blind to the problem or may actually favor this form of illegal voting—end of subject.

Krell1349, here’s the proof of voter fraud you requested. I have many more articles proving that election fraud in the US is a significant problem that concerns all Americans, regardless of their political affiliations.
Is there hard evidence of illegal ballots in Detroit?
After the cutoff day and time, (at which time Trump was winning by 100,000 votes) a truckload of ballots arrived and entered the counting process (Michigan set the cut off time at 8:00 PM election day and the truck pulled up at 10:30 PM and again at 4:00 AM).
Trump lost Michigan.
The point is that the Democrats saw their candidate losing, so at the last minute they printed, with a photocopy machine , ballots and filled them out, and entered the false ballots into the voting machines.
This is what they did in Michigan.
To conceal their cheating, the Democrats covered the windows with cardboard and removed the observers to prevent anyone from watching their actions.
These security video tapes were later made public.
The Democrats accused of these claims called them “paranoid delusions of partisan fanatics.” But the truth is objective and cannot be made “true” by shouting.
Trump lost Michigan because Democrats and the media ignored affidavits exposing the voter fraud.
“No winner should be declared until a bi-partisan group thoroughly investigates these issues,” but no such investigation followed this egregious voter fraud.
The Democratic Party committed voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election and numerous local elections.
The US Supreme Court clearly did not overturn the elections. Doing so would have proven voter fraud in the US election, which would have been a significant blow to the American people and the very foundation of American democracy.
This factual account details voter fraud perpetrated by the Democratic Party during the 2020 federal and local elections.
You requested proof of voter fraud, and here it is!
