The city’s public hospital nurses, who are seeking a contract that will provide salaries equal to their private-sector counterparts, are hoping to enforce a clause from a previous agreement to close the widening wage gap.
The contract for nurses who work at NYC Health + Hospitals expired March 2. Members of the New York State Nurses Association rallied that day for a fair agreement outside of H+H’s Lincoln Hospital.
