Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association President Patrick J. Lynch unleashed a broadside against the Civilian Complaint Review Board after reports that its new Executive Director, Jonathan Darche, had made racist and sexist remarks.
Mr. Lynch has been a longtime opponent of the board, which investigates discourtesy, abuse of authority and other complaints against police officers and, if it finds the charges justified, recommends disciplinary action to the NYPD.
