Members of the New York State Professional Fire Fighters Association elected former Albany firefighter Sam Fresina to his fifth term as president of the organization representing more than 18,000 workers in municipal fire departments across the state. Fresina became secretary-treasurer of the NYSPFFA in 2010 and was first elected president in 2016.
He has also served as president of the Albany Permanent Professional Firefighters Association.
