A luxury real estate developer will pay $3 million for failing to pay prevailing wages to employees at two properties in the city, New York Attorney General Letitia James announced Oct. 6.
Although Heatherwood Communities received tax exemptions through the city’s former 421-a program, it failed to pay prevailing wages to workers at two buildings as required under the program, according to the AG’s office.
