New York City Transit is hiring track workers, with applications accepted through Oct. 21 for multiple choice tests scheduled to begin March 8.
The current minimum salary for track workers is $27 per hour for a 40-hour work week, increasing to $38.57 in the sixth year of service. Benefits include, but are not limited to, night and weekend salary differentials, paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, a comprehensive medical plan and a pension plan. The fee is $68.
