A former NYPD officer faces the possibility of life in prison following his conviction in Brooklyn federal court of sexually assaulting two minor boys and of related offenses involving two others.
Following a five-day jury trial, Christopher Terranova, 34, of Staten Island, was found guilty Friday on all six counts of a superseding indictment that had charged him with sexually exploiting, attempting to sexually exploit and enticing and coercing three 15-year-old boys and a 12-year-old boy. The ex-cop faces a mandatory minimum of 15 years’ imprisonment and a maximum of life in prison when he is sentenced.
