A former civilian program counselor at the New York City Department of Correction was sentenced to three months in federal prison, followed by two years of supervised release, for accepting bribes to smuggle drugs and other contraband into Rikers Island.
Nathaniel Henry, 34, of Brooklyn, pleaded guilty in August 2025 to conspiracy to solicit and receive bribes while acting as an agent of an organization receiving federal funds.
