Ruben Estevez, an FDNY radio technician who claimed he has been bullied, harassed and assaulted by the vice president of his union, is still working in the same office as the union official, months after the FDNY’s Equal Employment and Opportunity Office substantiated one of the technician's allegations of sexual misconduct against the vice president, Estevez’s lawyer said.
According to a notice of claim filed in March, Estevez has faced bullying and harassment from Manuel Roman, his supervisor and the vice president of DC 37 Local 1087, since 2012, but which has escalated in the last four years.
