Registration for the FDNY’s open competitive exam for firefighters opened on Monday, more than three months after it was initially scheduled. Firefighter hopefuls between the ages of 17 ½ and 29 will have until Aug. 9 to sign up to take the exam.
The test, scheduled to be administered in the fall, has written and physical components.
