The FDNY’s annual weeklong celebration of its 4,400 EMS members began May 16 with the unveiling of the official EMS Week poster, a yearly tradition to highlight the work of the department’s EMTs, paramedics and EMS officers.
The poster, depicting seven members of FDNY EMS, alternately in their uniforms and in their street clothes, features the slogan “behind every uniform is a story.”
