The one and only debate of this gubernatorial election season, televised Oct. 22, provided a fair degree of heat without much light.
During the 60-minute encounter, response time was split evenly among Governor Cuomo, a Democrat; Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, his Republican challenger, and two minor-party candidates the Governor insisted be included.
