City Council Speaker Corey Johnson Oct. 17 called for the extension of unlimited sick leave to all civilian city workers now battling World Trade Center-related health issues resulting from their service during the response and recovery that began on 9/11.
That benefit has only been guaranteed by the city for cops, firefighters, correction officers and sanitation workers.
