Renee Campion, the Office of Labor Relations Commissioner under now-departed Mayor Eric Adams, doesn't understand why unions representing Emergency Medical Service (EMS) workers found her proposals unacceptable. EMS workers are part of the Fire Department of New York (FDNY). Like firefighters, they do life saving work sometimes under dangerous circumstances.
